Curated Dining
A Mediterranean-leaning, hearth-driven menu catered by Aba — the West Loop favorite — and served at the table by a private waiter. Smoky bread, kebabs from the grill, sides built to be passed.
An evening, in rotation.

Hi — I'm Larry, your host.
33 RPM has two meanings to me. It's the speed at which a vinyl record turns — the way an album is meant to be played, start to finish, side A to side B. And this June, it's the age I become.
So this dinner is both — a record played at its true speed, and a quiet celebration of arriving here. A handful of people I care about, one shared table, a vinyl needle drop, and a soundtrack written by the room itself.
I believe in slow service, deep listening, and the small rituals of hospitality — the polish of a coupe glass, the warmth of walnut under candlelight, the patience of a record that asks to be heard from start to finish. You are not attending a restaurant. You are joining a room.
Candlelight and walnut. Dinner catered by Aba in the West Loop and served at the table by a private waiter. Cocktails poured by a bartender for the room, and records — yours — playing the whole way through.

A private bartender pouring two signature cocktails plus a full wine, beer, and spirits program. Spirit-free options always present.
SoundEvery guest chooses a record. Bring a favorite if you have one — I'll keep a backup library on hand. The night plays only what the room asks for, start to finish, side A to side B.
Eight seats. One shared table. A private waiter who learns your name by the second course. Strangers become regulars somewhere around the third pour.

This is a dinner, not a ball. Think a nice button-down, a polo, a blouse, a sweater that fits you well — something you feel good in. Skip the suit and tie; skip the gym shorts. The room is candle-lit and warm, the music is on, and I want you here comfortable, not stiff.

Each invited guest will choose a record to be played during the evening. If you have a favorite — something with meaning, something you've been carrying, something the room needs to hear — bring it.
I'll keep a backup library on hand, but your selection sets the soundtrack to your own dinner. In the spirit of true vinyl culture: no streaming, no skipping, no shuffle. The album plays as the artist arranged it.
